Today was gorgeous! Clear and sunny:)

So, of course, we went outside. Duh!

This is what I wanted to do while basking in the sunlight:

This tray thing was filled with ICE this morning and now he is playing in it.

His poor frozen fingers!

Brrrrrrr! Soaking wet and playing in ice cold water.

Then he found the mud. Of course.

Gross, happy, muddy boy!

Oh how I love this little BOY!

I will happily put aside my books and coffee to follow him around in the mud

and watch him enjoy the simple pleasures of childhood.

This is my life and I love it.

Wow! Is January really over? I am so proud of myself for keeping up with this thing! Some days were posted late, but photos were taken every day and memories saved for the future.

I am loving this!

75 degree weather in January means lots of outside playtime!

Today Travis discovered MUD!

He started by stomping around in it and then he fell and realized that splashing in the mud with his hands was just as fun. He froze every time it splashed into his face though

I was just waiting for him to face plant here, but he didn't.

My boy:

Pacifier in his mouth and a rock in each hand while out exploring the yard. I laugh with him daily and find the greatest joy in his adventures.

My girl is a tomboy who likes to wear glitter and tulle while jumping in mud puddles.

Another nice day sent us outside for some more play time.

We wanted to take advantage of the nice weather while we could as it is supposed to start raining soon.

His first time with sidewalk chalk.

He was having a blast!

He loves being outside!

I had a flash of 16 years from now when he will do this again, but with a real car, and I freaked a little. My sweet little stud;)

He loves for me to push him around the yard in his car while he makes cute little engine sounds. Vrrrrrooooooommmmmm!

Today was a glorious day! Not only was it sunny, but my baby is feeling better. Yay! So to take advantage of the double blessing we went outside to play.

This boy is 15 months old today! Where has the time gone? He is a blur of energy, loves to snuggle up to his mommy, and is obsessed with stairs and light fixtures right now.

He runs from one thing to the next, trying to take it all in and experience life.

Even when he is sitting down he can't sit still...

I call him my "little blur".

He is a happy 15 month old boy

We had gone outside to take a few pictures of the remaining snowfall from last night(we don't get snow here) and Tommy came up for a snuggle. Don't you just love his coloring?
