{96/365} Super B!

Tonight was Super Hero night at Awana, so I made Brooklyn a cape and mask to wear.

She loved it!
One side is pink with a B on it and the other side is blue with a lightning bolt.
Her mask is reversible as well.

The husband discovered the game Angry Birds today.
He was like this for hours.
Every time he would yell, Brooklyn would run over to see what all the fuss was about.
Aww, daddy immersed in the game with some sibling love going on next to him:)

This is my life and I love it.

Brooklyns' teacher had the kids draw names and write a sweet note to that person.
They were supposed to leave the name blank and had to guess who wrote it.

Here is the note that Brooklyn came home with:

 "Dear Brooklyn,
I like how you never give up on one thing and you alwase play fer in games.
You alwase take turns and your never mean.
You never say anything rude and everything in your world is nice.
Your alwase funny and a really good sport.
Your alwase stopping arguments or just staying out of them.
~Brady"

I just love all the misspelled words:) So sweet!

This is the other side of the note...he did such a great job coloring it for her.

This girl is such a goof! She put on this tassel cowgirl top thingy and danced around the house all day.

She keeps life interesting;)

This girl loves to play games!
She can be quite ruthless, but is a good sport when the tides turn;)
SORRY! is our favorite game to play as a family.

I love her freckles!
When she was little she called them "sprinkles".
I wish she still did.

She put a photo and a sucker in a bag and taped it shut.

{38/365}

Not a single photo was taken today!

Not even on my cell phone.

It was a day of resting after a super long, but super fun weekend with my siblings. We took so many photos over the weekend, so I think that should count for something.

So here is a photo that was taken on Saturday:

She lost her tooth while we were hiking, so we stopped to take a picture.
It is so blurry, but I love it:)

Superbowl Sunday!!!

Printed some cute little flags out to top our cupcakes:)

My siblings and I did not grow up watching sports on tv. I don't think any of them had ever really watched football until they came to our house for the weekend.

The girls decided which team they wanted to cheer for based on how cute the quarterback was and Green Bay won. #12! Oh yeah! It helps that he is a Nor Cal boy and is also a Christian;)

We pulled out the craft paint and had a little fun:)

Here is Brooklyn all painted and ready to cheer!

Mean muggin' with her Funcle(Fun + Uncle) Johnny.

 Grrrrr! Game faces ON!

Jacob did the majority of painting...here he is painting Patricia.

Me and my boy with our paint on. He laughed so hard when I showed him what he looked like!

TOUCH DOWN!!!

Getting ready to go hike Castle Crags with my siblings who came to visit for the weekend.

Patricia, Brooklyn, Travis, Sarah and Me!

Travis with his Uncle Johnny.

Travis with Uncle Jacob.

Jon and Travis

The whole crew(minus me): My sister Sarah, brother Jacob, son Travis, daughter Brooklyn, brother Johnny, husband Jon and sister Patricia.

This is me near the top. It was so windy and there was snow on the ground.
The view was gorgeous and the hike was hard, but it was worth it!

I left the boy at home with Daddy so that I could join Brooklyn on her school field trip.
I even rode the bus with her and she was so happy:)
Fun morning with my girl.

Day 2 {Joy of Love}

The Joy of Love

02: how they look
...the TRUE essence/expression/attitude/posture that SCREAMS your loved one!

This is my daughter Brooklyn and she has so many facial expressions that show off her personality.

She lost a tooth last night and I wanted to get a photo of her new smile.

Here she's trying to hide the new lost tooth

This one is after I BEGGED her to show me her teeth. Goof;)

{29/365}

We went to a bowling tournamet fundraiser today for Brooklyn's school.

My cute little bowler!

She got a couple strikes, several spares and had a great time with her friends.

This is Travis cheering and clapping for Brooklyn after her first STRIKE!

I barely got her to pose for this photo...she was so busy running around with her friends in between her turns.

This little dude was{mostly}on his best behavior while we were there...I was so proud!

Goofballs.

A rare photo of me with Travis:)

And another one! I <3 this boy.

This is my life and I love it.

75 degree weather in January means lots of outside playtime!

Jump.

Giggle.

Love.

The rain will start again and when it does we want to have enough sunshine soaked up to get us through the darker days.
